The world is now celebrating the holy birth Centenary of Parampujyapad Sri Sri Borda beginning from December 6, 2010 at Satsang Ashram, Deoghar with much pomp and grandeur. Sri Sri Borda had a farsighted vision for construction of modern India through Satsang. The satsang created by Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satsang_(Deoghar) was well decorated by Sri Sri Borda and now it is getting momentum by the present Acharyadev Sri Sri Dada. Sri Sri Borda was the God gifted personality of Sri Sri Thakur dedicated for the sake of upliftment and welfare of whole mankind. He was not only son by birth but also son by culture of Sri Sri Thakur. Sri Sri Thakur and Sri Sri Borda was just two sides of a coin. To remain with Sri Sri Thakur means to remain with Sri Sri Borda. He embodied Sri Sri Thakur within Himself, realized and materialized all the holy messages of Sri Sri Thakur in to-to. He traveled knock and corner of the country to know the problems and give suitable solutions. I had the opportunity to have His First holy Darshan during 1970 at Satsang Ashram, Deoghar, From that very moment I was being attracted by the divine personality of Sri Sri Borda. With all ups and downs we gathered in mass during our college career and resolved to materialize some of the projects blessed by Sri Sri Borda. On December 3, 1973, He arrived at Puri and inquired something regarding Puri. Asked every body’s accommodation, fooding etc., This was his greatness. Wherever, he used to go always he carried the whole environment along with him. During this time Sri Sri Borda moved to number of places nearby sea coast particularly Paradeep, Kujang, Marsaghai, jagatsinghpur, Konark, Chilika, Gopalpur and Chandpur eic. Living Memories

This was almost the initial Satsang organizational movement in Orissa. The coastal districts were always subjected to the victims of rain, flood and cyclone. Due to his blessings some projects came into existence and subsequently huge number of distressed and sufferers could able to get the real path of life and growth. His will power in fulfilling lords wishes and establishing the projects of Sri Sri Thakur was so strong that it over comes all barriers and hindrances. Once on the way to Paradeep just at the side of the express highway near Marsaghai, we arranged in a large way for His holy reception. But the weather was so stormy and cyclonic that we lost all Our hopes and aspirations. It was amazing to notice that suddenly with his holy arrival the weather became very calm and the thousands of devotees Could enjoy and paid their homage to Sri Sri Borda. Living Memories

Sri Sri Borda was very much punctual. It is said that everybody adjusts their watches according to His daily activities. He had concised the prayer regulated the process of meditation of huge number of devotees. reorganized and started various activities of Ashram like school, College Hospital, Library, Zoo, Guest House, Publishing house, carpentry, medicine manufacturing centre, generator house, garage, Agricultural farm. Anandabazar, massive plantation in and outside the Ashram etc.

Sri Sri Borda’s presence during 1976 enriched Orissa’s ecosystem environment. We had enjoyed in a great way His bath at Puri sea, a stroll by the sea in the evening, Boat ferry at Chilika, visit to Kalljai hill, visit to the botanical and zoological park at Nandankanan and Khandagiri, Udayagiri caves etc. During His visit to zoological park, when the animals inside the cage were coming very nearer to Him, we pointed out the same thing. out of joy Sri Sri Borda replied “Babu (Sri Sri Dada) knows the language of animals and birds better than me”. He also visited to vast areas of western and southern Orissa during 1977 and organizing the All India Ritwick Conference and holy 91th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur during 1978 at Bhubaneswar, Sri Sri Borda became very close to Orissa. The sole aim and objective of his life was only to fulfil the desire of Sri Sri Thakur and to see his satisfaction.

In the primary stage of Satsang Ashram at Himaitpur, the ‘Kacha’ ordinary latrines were there through the premises. It so happened that during the rainy season there was a very unhealthy situation due to the overflow of latrine wastes. Sri Sri Borda at the age of 12-13 years could able to clean the drainage and took bath, which was subsequently identified by Sushila. For this, He was awarded a shield as the best social worker. But after some days Sri Sri Borda donated the same in one of the “Lathi games” among the Muslim community located nearby Ashram. His life was totally dedicated for the sake of others to fulfill the mission of Sri Sri Thakur. He had approved and established the truth “I am for the lord not for others and I am for the lord, and so for others”. In order to fulfill His desire, Sri Sri Dada established the gigantic temple at Chennai which paved the way for propagating the ideology of Sri Sri Thakur in all South Indian States.
